For the last few years, a Friday night in Westfield meant picking a lane. You either drove north to Grand Park for a tournament and grabbed food on the way home, or you walked the Grand Junction Plaza lawn downtown and hoped the food trucks had a line you could tolerate. Those were the two Westfields, and they rarely touched.
That changed this spring. The city now has two full evening districts, one at each end, and the season's routines look different because of it. If your calendar still looks like last summer's, you are missing half of what opened while you were not paying attention.
The Grand Park end became a place you actually stay
The most consequential opening of 2026 sits on 4.5 acres at Grand Park Boulevard and East 181st Street.
